While the boys each attempt to finish different books, they tackle yet another Short Story from Night Shift, 'I Know What You Need'. They get kind of critical (as critical as they can be in regards to Stephen King) and drop into a reference spiral.

After a comfortable li'l New Years hiatus, Brad and Dave are back to talk about their favourite Short Story, Quitters Inc...
...then go out for some solid post-coital cigarettes. Pure satisfaction.
As we wait for Dolores to finish hanging the wash, Brad and Dave return to the Night Shift and look into one of the (arguably) more familiar Stephen King Short Stories, The Ledge.
It's edge of your feet fun!
The boys are back with renewed vigour to discuss another story from Night Shift, Strawberry Spring.
Follow them on a trip to a quaint New England University where, for a week, the weather's fine and the murders are fresh.
Caught by surprise, with lowered expectations brought on by the film adaptation, the boys discuss one of the longer stories in Night Shift, Sometimes They Come Back.
They don't deviate much from the story but the boys are in the pocket on this one. Dave sounds like he's literally in a pocket as he finds the ideal place to record in his new apartment.....
Brad and Dave talk pulp fiction (the genre not the movie), body horror, and the trouble with oral histories while examining the slimy tale of human transformation, Gray Matter, from Night Shift.
Make the most of it, it'll be the last Short from Night Shift until they're through with Bazaar of Bad Dreams (out Nov. 3rd).
The Boys finally got around to doing another Short Story (They're Short, what's the hold up?!), this time it's The Boogeyman from Night Shift. They talk about the story, the myth, and reveal some secrets spoilers concerning upcoming podcasts.
The Boogeyman is everywhere and it's best you learn you thing or two about it...before it gets you! The Boogeyman is coming...
Brad and Dave left all you Constant Listeners in the lurch, not knowing what book they're going to cover next. They figure that out and talk about the next short story in Night Shift, The Mangler; a playful story about a man, a machine, and what it takes to make them work.
Why not give'r a listen! The boys don't sing in this one, I promise.
While we're all waiting for Captain King's upcoming release, Finders Keepers (June 2nd, mark your calendars), Brad and Dave decided to tackle some more short stories. One is the norm but Two is a treat! This time they read The Stand related, super old, Night Surf, and the story that gave the soft cover the beautiful cover art, I Am the Doorway.
It was a hot day...this mightn't be their A game. Give it a go anyways.
(Check us out on iTunes and leave a Rating and Review, please. I mean, it'd be nice.)
Brad and Dave crack into the short story collections, starting with 1978's Night Shift. The first story they look at is "Graveyard Shift". Brad reads ahead and Dave thinks about TV and Movies. Distraction at it's best.
